How To Play a Blues Solo
Another video lesson from Dan Denley. Dan has a whole bunch of fantastic guitar learning programs, including AmazingGuitarSecrets, BluesGuitar Secrets, AcousticGuitarSecrets and LeadGuitarSecrets and is always working to improve and upgrade them, as well as periodically developing new lessons covering yet another area of guitar music.
He is shortly to launch version 2.0 of his Blues course and has once again selected this Guitar Tips blog to preview BluesGuitar Secrets 2.0 , which is a great honour for me.
The preview is a mini lesson on video ( plus tab ) showing how to play a Blues solo, which I guess is something most guitar players aspire to doing. Most jam sessions I've sat in on will at some point feature someone bursting into a 12-bar Blues riff, and it's great when you know you can join in and amaze everyone with your blues licks to accomany the chords being played. Once again the video is split to show both the picking and the chording hands simultaneously in close-up.
The tabs to accompany this video can be located HERE (PDF takes a few seconds to load) ( Right-click and select 'download link as..' to save the tabs to your PC. There are also audio Jam tracks for the Rhythm and Solo parts. Click on the links - or you can right-click and 'Save As' to save them to your computer.
I hope you will enjoy and benefit from Dan's expertise, the link to the course is below:

Dan has very recently released this fantastic new resource, Blues Guitar Secrets 2.0, which contains everything you could possibly need to help you become an accomplished Blues Guitar Player.
Enjoy your music,
